Opportunity: CAUL Finance, Risk and Audit Committee Member (Independent)
The Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL) is seeking a Finance, Risk, and Audit Committee Member with experience in governance, financial management, accounting, or auditing. The ideal candidate will hold eligibility for CPA or CAANZ membership and have a demonstrated track record of providing strategic financial management oversight to support the achievement of CAUL's financial objectives.
The candidate should have experience in financial stewardship, including reviewing annual budgets to assess alignment with strategic and operational plans. The candidate will also have expertise in reviewing periodic financial reports and annual audits, as well as monitoring the financial sustainability and solvency of the organisation. Experience in higher education is not required; the CAUL Finance, Risk and Audit Committee seeks applicants who will bring alternate perspectives and a diversity of lived experience.
