User Experience Community of Practice

About

The purpose of the User Experience (UX) Community of Practice (CoP) is to provide a collaborative forum for staff from CAUL Member institutions to engage in professional learning and share information related to UX practices that support user-centred decision-making across library functions. The CoP empowers academic libraries, regardless of their current UX stage or resources, to share insights and build professional UX knowledge and capability. By fostering this collective expertise, the group aims to help libraries better understand, design, and evaluate user experiences that truly benefit their clients. Through this collaborative approach, the CoP seeks to strengthen the library sector’s ability to create impactful and effective user experiences that meet the evolving needs of library users..

  • Promote information sharing on UX strategies, tools, and methods
  • Provide peer support for addressing challenges and enhancing UX initiatives
  • Explore key issues and emerging trends in library user experience
