Objectives

This project will review and update the CAUL Statement on Open Scholarship (2015) to clearly define and articulate CAUL’s position on open access.

Timing

Project will commence in Q2 2018

Scope

  1. Examine CAUL’s current statement in the context of other sectoral, national and international statements on open access and open scholarship to identify differences and potential changes and/or additions;
  2. Seek feedback from CAUL members and other stakeholders to confirm which elements are supported by members;
  3. Publish and promote statement to CAUL members and other stakeholders.

Work continues on the projects within the CAUL Fair, Affordable and Open Access to Knowledge Program.  This post provides an update on the current status of the four projects as of June 2018. Any questions can be directed to Jill Benn (UWA) the Program Director.
