Strategy

The Board is responsible for establishing CAUL’s strategic direction, which is articulated in a three-year strategy. The strategy is developed through a consultative process involving CAUL Members and operationalised by the CAUL Office led by the CEO.

Strategy 2023-2025

CAUL’s current strategy articulates strategic priorities for CAUL’s three core services – the Analytics Service, the Content Procurement Service, and the Professional Learning Service – from 2023 to 2025. It defines three strategic enabling programs that address issues of key importance to Members and their institutions:

Past strategies

Past strategies are available in the document library including for 2010-12, 2013-2015 and 2020-2022. (For the years 2016-2019, CAUL undertook a review of the Council’s committee structures & processes, capacity and direction which impacted on strategy at the time and after a thorough review a completely new approach to CAUL’s strategic directions was adopted in late 2019.)
