Principles and Guidelines

The Content Procurement Service publishes principles, guidelines, and other guidance documents to inform vendors in developing offers for the Consortium, support Consortium participants in their negotiations with vendors, and support Content Coordinators and other participating institution staff in working with CAUL.

Agreement principles

The Content Procurement Service regularly publishes agreement principles aligned with CAUL’s values, which vendors must adhere to when developing offers.

Resource sharing model clause

In response to requests by CAUL Consortium participants to increase the number of publishers that allow resource sharing, the CAUL Content Procurement Service, in conjunction with the Australian Libraries Copyright Committee (ALCC) and CAVAL, developed a model clause.
