The CAUL Content Procurement Service leads national procurement activity for university libraries across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Through the operation of the CAUL Consortium. it negotiates sector-wide agreements that deliver improved pricing, equitable terms, and streamlined workflows for participating institutions. Beyond the Consortium, the service coordinates working groups, develops shared tools and resources, and represents the sector in negotiations, consultations and policy discussions. CAUL plays a leading role in transforming scholarly publishing, using collective investment to drive progress toward open access and shape the future of digital content provision.
